How long does it take to install a Limex MIDI/Micro System?

We require the accordion for 7 days to be certain of completing the work however, if our workshop is not that busy it may take as little as 3 days.

How much weight does the Limex System add to an accordion?

The weight increase can be measured in ounces and normally, it is not detected by the average person.

Can the "P", "M", and "L" systems be upgraded to "Plus" specification?

Most certainly. The complete system is modular and items can be added as required.

Can a Microphone system be fitted without MIDI and/or a MIDI fitted without a Microphone system?

Yes and yes. They are independant systems that can be fitted in any order.

Can only new accordions have the Limex system fitted?

No, any accordion in sound structural condition is suitable for upgrading.

Will the Limex system fit all accordions?

Some accordions, by virtue of their complex construction or small size, will require the installer to be creative but it is unlikely that any will prove to be impossible.

Why do you not publish prices on this web site?

Limex products are manufactured in Austria and are priced in Euros as is the cost of shipping. Constantly varying exchange rates make it impossible to know exactly what the final price will be in Canada.

How do I know what my install will cost?

When we have discussed your requirements and you have expressed an interest, we will obtain an accurate and binding price for you in Canadian dollars which will include installation, all taxes and return shipping charges.

Can I deliver my accordion to your premises?

By appointment, yes. Given sufficient warning we can accept delivery and arrange local accommodation if you wish to wait for the install to be completed. In these circumstances we will give your installation top priority.

Is the software user upgradeable?

Yes if you have the programmable display reader and connecting cable. Limex regularly provides free updates on their web site.

Are operating instructions provided for the various systems?

Yes, a free comprehensive manual is available in .pdf format on the Limex web site. We will include a CD with your system that contains this manual and the latest software upgrades. A glossy coloured manual in book form is available for purchase.
